Our Commitment to Safety
During Covid-19

Please read, understand and adhere to our Covid-Safety plan. We are always happy to discuss if clarification is required.

Dear All About Swing Dancers,

We're thrilled to be able to head back to the dance floor after such a long break during lockdown, however we cannot become complacent. We have developed and implemented Covid-Safe practices to ensure we can get back to doing what we love in a safe environment for everyone.

We take health very seriously. We developed our own Covid-Safety policy and closed our classes before the lockdown become mandatory.

If at any time we feel the risk to our community's safety is too high, our classes will be put on hold.

WHAT CAN I DO TO KEEP MYSELF AND ALL ABOUT SWING SAFE?
Please read and follow our Covid-Safety procedures below. It is essential we all do our part, so we can continue to dance while minimising the risk of exposure and transmission

All About Swing Covid-19 Safety Policy

If you feel unwell, stay home and get a Covid-19 test as soon as possible. Do not attend class.

  • You will be able to have a make-up class for your missed session

Entering & Exiting the Studio

When entering and exiting the studio you must wash or sanitise your hands. You will be tempreture checked and your name and phone number will be required for contact tracing compliance.

There will be no payments in person with bookings and payments completed online prior to class. Please limit unnecessary face-to-face time.

Waiting at the Studio

If you arrive prior to studio availabiity, you are required to wait outside the studio. We will not allow queuing of any kind between classes. Once you enter the studio please move immediately to your designated space as shown by the markers and squares drawn out on the studio floors.

Please arrive on time, and leave on time. We cannot allow socialising after class.

Hygiene, Changing Clothes and Amenity Use

Please avoid changing clothes at the studio and limit any and all amenity use as much as possible. These areas are frequently cleaned and should only be used if absolutely required. Please keep your belongings with you at all times and limit what you bring into the studio.

You must sanitise or wash your hands upon arriving and leaving out studio. Sanitising stations are available at all entry and exit points. Please do not eat at the studio. Practice hygiene when using a water bottle.

Social Distancing Measures

As dance is a contact grade sport, we are allowed to be in contact with our partner for the duration of the lesson. There will be no partner rotations and each partnership must adhere to the signage ensuring 4m square per partnership in every studio.

You must maintain social distancing from absolutely everyone not a household contact and not your partner for the lesson. Minimium 1.5m from each individual. This means we are not allowed to greet each other with hugs, hand shakes or high fives (yes, even high fives!). The only contact should be absolutely essential.

Zero Contact Studio - Online Bookings and Payments

We have designed our spaces to be completely contactless. There should be no reason for any student to touch or handle anything during their stay. All students must be booked in and registered prior to attending the class. If you are not pre-registered you will not be allowed entry. We must adhere to our maximum capacity limits.

Committment to Safety

As part of our committment to providing a safe place, we are working diligently behind the scenes to ensure we are up-to-date and informed with Covid-19 cases in NSW and continually adjusting our procedures when required.

Refusal or disobeying any of the above procedures will mean we simply ask you to leave our studio, which we reserve the right to do at any time.
